Elder Chris turns to Colossians where we find that Christ did away with the old laws and ordinances that were pictures of Christ. He also overcame principalities and powers, making a show of them at the cross. Elder Chris points out that we are no longer obligated to these and we are made free. He reminds us that we have great liberty in Jesus Christ and asks us to draw nearer to Him through reading His word, worshipping Him with like believers, and following the example laid for us.
